Worldwide seafarers’ charity the Sailors’ Society has raised £608,000 from their
recent Three Peaks Challenge event.

Over 40 teams took part in the Southampton-based charity’s bi-annual event and experienced
dreadful weather conditions climbing climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Helvellyn in
the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales within 24 hours.

The overall winner awarded on a combination of funds raised and time taken was ‘
Team Force Majeur’, from Bunge SA, closely followed by Morgan Stanley representatives‘
Northern Rocks’.
