Simon Miles, Business Development Manager for the Southampton office of Deloitte
added: “The idea for the event came from Deloitte’s St Alban’s office, who have
held an annual charity cycle ride for many years, and raised significant sums for
charity.

“…We strongly believe in supporting locally-based initiatives and the fact that
the Sailors’ Society does so much for the port of Southampton, and more than 90
other of her international sister ports, is important to us. It’s also great to
be involved in a community event, which brings families together to do something
that’s healthy and fun.”
