# Social enterprise category in annual Startups Awards

**New social enterprises are encouraged to enter the annual Startups Awards, organised
by startups.co.uk, to be in with the chance of winning £5,000.**

The 16 award categories include Innovative Business of the Year, Retailer of the
Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Green Business
of the Year, Silver Fox Award and Social Enterprise of the Year.

The winners from each category will compete to be named the Startups Business of
the Year for the £5,000 prize.

The closing date for entries is 4 July 2008.
