# Ark dinner raises over £25 million in one night – again

**Children’s charity Ark has once again raised over £25 million in one evening from
its seventh annual fundraising dinner at which over 1,100 hedge fund managers and
other UK financial services staff attend.**

Last week’s event at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich raised £25,060,000,
a little less than the 2007 total of £26,600,000.

Ark’s chairman Arpad Busson was joined at the event by former Prime Minister the
Rt Hon Tony Blair, with entertainment from Trinity Brass, Hillsong & Gospel Choir,
and Stevie Wonder.

Donations to the fundraising auction at the event came from Fiat, Damien Hirst,
