# New director of marketing and fundraising at Relate

**Relationship support organisation Relate has appointed Arezo Shephard to the newly
created position of director of marketing and fundraising. The new senior level 
position is part of a strategy to develop sustainable funding streams.**

Shephard brings over fifteen years of senior management experience from within the
private and public sectors. One of her first tasks will be to implement a corporate
fundraising programme to attract long-term partnerships, a new direction for Relate
which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.

The new Marketing & Fundraising team will oversee income generation as well as managing
the brand and raising the profile of Relate with target audiences.
