The Office of Fair Trading is to pay Morrisons £100,000 to settle a defamation case
after wrongly reporting that it had issued the company with a warning regarding
anti-competitive behaviour.

The supermarket will use the money to top-up its support for the Help the Aged and
ChildLine partnership.
