# Bank Gift Aid donations today!

Got any donations that qualify for Gift Aid still sitting in the in-tray? Did you
get any cheques this morning? Bank them today! You need to make sure they are cashed
before the new lower rate tax change comes into effect from 6 April and the new 
transitional rate system for Gift Aid takes effect.

If you leave it until tomorrow to bank them, the three-day clearing cycle might 
take them beyond Friday and into the new lower rate Gift Aid period.

 announced in the recent Budget, but by acting now your donations will qualify for
the current Gift Aid system.
