# 25th No Smoking Day includes fundraising challenge

**The 25th annual No Smoking Day on 12 March is including a fundraising campaign,
The Great No Smoking Day Challenge, to encourage those giving up to raise funds 
for charity while they do.**

The campaign is the first since smokefree legislation was extended across the whole
of the UK. It invites smokers to commit to a smokefree week. They then receive free
quit packs, text messages and emails to help them continue.

Participants are encouraged to seek sponsorship to support a charity of their choice,
either via a dedicated JustGiving web page or using the challenge sponsorship form.

The charity has developed a Facebook group and MySpace page to support the campaign.
