The Youth Council for Northern Ireland has launched a small grants programme with
a deadline for applications of 29th February. Grants up to £5,000 will be provided
to organisations working directly with young people and to agencies run by adults
that work with young people.

Each of three programmes will be given £30,000. The programmes are Equipment, Creativity
and Healthy Living. The Council will only offer funding to organisations which have
child protection policy and equal opportunities policy.

Applications for equipment will have to demonstrate a positive contribution to the
operation of the headquarters organisation, or its affiliated units, or projects
involving the young people with whom they work.
