**The Community Development Foundation (CDF) is seeking applications from organisations
in England to manage the delivery of the £130 million Grassroots Grants programme
in their area. The programme “aims to invest in a thriving community sector.”**

The CDF is administering the programme on behalf of the Office of the Third Sector.
Organisations selected as local funding providers will disburse the grants from
July 2008-2011 which are designed to give access to small grants and long-term funding
for local community groups and organisations in England.

The deadline for applications to become a local funder is 30 April 2008.
