# It's Social Enterprise Day

Today is Social Enterprise Day and the Government has put together a range of events
and initiatives to mark the occasion. These include a [new guide to social enterprise](http://www.businesslink.gov.uk/trysocialenterprise),
produced with Business Link, and a new ‘Make Your Mark in 60 seconds’ [online competition](http://www.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/thirdsector)
for budding social entrepreneurs.

 

This year’s events included a social enterprise bus tour around London. At least
it wasn’t on a bandwagon…
