Together the charity’s managers look after the 4,800 people who lend a ‘paw’ to the organisation. PDSA estimates that its volunteer staff save the organisation £8.5 million every year. Without PDSA managers, however, these savings and the income many of volunteers themselves generate would not be possible.     ## Advertisement PDSA Head of Volunteering, Janet Compton, said: “PDSA would like to thank all of its managers for their hard work and dedication in managing volunteers. We are extremely grateful to our committed volunteers across the UK, and the guidance that our professional managers provide to them.
