**Brooke, the UK’s largest overseas equine welfare charity, has launched Horses
in Need, a new fundraising campaign taking place throughout July to raise money
for suffering horses. The online fundraising site has been built with help from
Baigent and Artez.**

The site features project details which are managed by Brooke using Baigent’s content
management system, together withonline fundraising and event management features
from Artez , such as a “Leader Board”, showing which event organiser is currently
raising the most money.

The campaign section of the site has its own identity, while retaining the design
integrity of the main website.

Fundraisers can create their own sponsored event page and promote this to their
friends and family. The Leader Board is updated daily to help stimulate fundraisers
to raise even more money. The top 10 events are shown together with their total
income and the number of sponsors they have attracted. The events that raise the
most in each region can win “fantastic prizes”.

“We’re really pleased with this site, which has been designed and developed within
a very short time period – just one week – and is very well integrated with Brooke’s
main site. We’re looking forward to seeing very successful online and events fundraising
for Brooke this summer!” said Brooke’s account manager at Baigent, June Dobbs.
