# Tesco donates £5 for every Canon PowerShot to British Red Cross

**From 18 April, Tesco is donating £5 from the sale of every red Canon PowerShot
A460 to the British Red Cross, its charity of the year for 2007.**

Digital imaging technology specialist Canon is lending its support to help raise
£2 million to fund essential services in the UK. The British Red Cross is Canon’s
humanitarian charity partner and Canon is providing support for thirteen Red Cross
societies across Europe.

The British Red Cross has previously benefited from a partnership with Canon, raising
funds from three celebrity photography competitions – Other Side of the Lens (2003),
Other Side of Football (2005) and Other Side of Fashion (2006).
