# Cancer Research UK chosen by five businesses as charity of the year

Cancer Research UK has been chosen as Charity of the Year for 2007-08 by five leading
UK businesses: Adecco, Hallmark Cards, Michael Page International, Visa Europe and
Weber Shandwick Financial.
The partnerships with international recruitment consultant
Adecco and national greeting card retailer, Hallmark Cards, are expected to raise
over £20,000 each for the charity; Visa Europe expects to raise £50,000 and UK recruitment
consultancy Michael Page International’s partnership is expected to raise over £
150,000.
