**Supermarket Sainsbury’s has launched this year’s Active Kids campaign, the initiative
which encourages customers to donate vouchers to a school, guiding or Scout group
to help them buy activity and exercise equipment or experiences such as sports coaching
for their children.**

Sainsbury’s first launched Active Kids in 2005.

Since then over 26,000 schools have benefited from a share of £34 million worth
of Active Kids equipment and experiences, all designed to increase physical activity
among school children.
