**The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) has appointed Ben Kernighan
as its Deputy Chief Executive, a new position. Kernighan was previously the organisation’s
Director of Services and Development.**

Kernighan, who has been with NCVO for eight years, will deputise for NCVO’s Chief
Executive, Stuart Etherington, as well as heading up the Services and Development
Department.

The new position was created following NCVO’s expansion of services and membership,
which is now over 4,800 organisations.
