The Law Society Charity has given The Citizenship Foundation a one-off donation
if £75,000 to support its core work.
Nigel Dodds, Law Society Charity Trustees Chairman,
explained the reason for the grant: “the Citizenship Foundation’s emphasis on law-
related education and its aims to empower individuals to engage in the wider community
through education about the law match perfectly with our policies”, he said.

“We applaud the achievements of the Citizenship Foundation throughout the long period
of our association.”

The Law Society Charity has supported the Foundation since it was established in
1989. Set up in 1974 it makes grants to a wide range of organisations and individuals
with a view to directly furthering law and justice.
