Around 30% of organisations that have signed up with Affinity Shopper’s online shopping
mall sites 4Rcharity, 4Rchurch, 4Rclub, and 4Rschool, have earned income within
the first few weeks. The average commission earned is 1.8% of the sales value of
each transaction, with the average value of each transaction being £79.
The malls,
which are free to set up and which offer a multi-retailer online shopping service,
generate income for charities which earn a percentage from each sale.

Philip Price, operations manager for Affinity Shopper, said: “Approximately 30%
of our customers have seen a financial return from their malls within the first
few weeks of opening, earning on average £1.42 from every sale made through their
mall.”

In the past six weeks most Affinity Shopper-powered malls have been set up by registered
charities, but there is “a growing interest” from churches and schools based.
