Nationals from some of the countries taking part in the World Cup this year have
come together in Belfast to help launch the World Cup Charity Challenge competition
which will raise funds for the Ulster Cancer Foundation’s Family and Patient Centre.

The Charity Challenge asks people to fill in the competition coupon and predict
the scores in the 48 qualifying rounds of the World Cup. The winner will receive
a trip for two to a Champion’s League away game. Participants are asked to make
a £5 donation to the Ulster Cancer Foundation.

Joyce Savage of the Ulster Cancer Foundation said the competition with such a good
top prize, as well as exciting others, will be a big attraction for all armchair
football pundits.
