A new online training course run by the NCVO’s Working For A Charity project is
designed to offer career changers, people returning to work, and new graduates the
chance to learn about all aspects of working in the voluntary sector, including
fundraising. Forty participants are being sought for a free pilot version.

The pilot of the course, ‘Effective Voluntary Sector Management’, will run from
March until July 2006, prior to the launch of an accredited course at the end of
2006. The pilot course is free and will require around four hours study a week for
the five-month period.
