National charity Wavemakers has opened nominations for its second annual awards.

Wavemakers, which has launched a new partnership with Argos as a major supporter
of this year’s awards, recognises children and young people who have taken the initiative
to help themselves and empower others in the areas of social care, education and
health.

The charity is seeking nominations for inspirational initiatives or projects, which
have been led by children or young people, in the following categories:

Children aged 12 and under (individuals or groups)
