A viral email featuring a photo of a spoof street sign in London’s Camden pointing
to “Charity Muggers” has won an award in Channel 4’s Germ viral marketing awards.

Neil Hepburn’s ‘Welcome to London’ was described as “a spoof Camden street sign
with a bit of honesty”.

The Germ awards were open to the general public and UK digital creative agencies.

“If a viral provokes laughter, anger, controversy or confusion, then I’d say it
was successful”, Neil Hepburn told The Guardian.
