# More funding for community-based media in South Yorkshire

The Community Media Association’s (CMA) ‘Turn Up The Volume’ project has now launched
the second round of ‘The South Yorkshire Community Media Fund’ (SYCMF).
This fund
is a new initiative from the CMA, to support community-based media and communication
projects in South Yorkshire. The aim of the fund is to encourage and assist innovative
communication initiatives that will contribute to neighbourhood renewal, enterprise
development and employment in South Yorkshire’s Priority 4a communities.
