Research by fast.MAP has revealed what would make donors and supporters more comfortable
about giving to charities over the telephone.
In a recent survey fast.MAP found
that over 30% of people questioned said that they were concerned about giving credit
and debit card details over the phone.

When asked what would make them feel more secure during such a telephone call:

* 53% said they would feel secure if they received a donation form through the post.

* 31% would prefer a website link so they can find out more about the charity and
what their donation would be used for.

* 24% said that they would feel secure if the charity’s registration number was
given so they can verify that it was a real charity.

fast.MAP surveys 10,000 profiled respondents over the web every month.
