Five local charities in Darlington have launched the Darlington Charity Partnership(
DCP) to raise funds through a series of events and joint initiatives.
The DCP consists
of the Darlington & District Hospice Movement (St Teresa’s Hospice), Darlington
Samaritans, Age Concern, Friends of Darlington Memorial Hospital and Darlington
Mind. The partnership has secured the Darlington Building Society as main sponsor
with its funding covering the advertising, printing and marketing costs of the DCP
as well as its general administration expenses.

The DCP was launched by the Rt Hon Alan Milburn, MP for Darlington and Chancellor
of the Duchy of Lancaster.
