Foreign correspondent Kate Adie is the guest speaker at the annual Ladies Luncheon
for the Katharine House Hospice in Stafford, and the event in May has sold out quickly.

Celebrities and notable people can prove particularly valuable supporters for smaller,
local organisations.

The announcement of journalist and author Kate Adie’s presence at the Katherine
House Hospice’s event resulted in all 500 tickets selling out within two weeks.
sold out within just 2 weeks of going on sale.

A Hospice representative commented: “We knew Kate Adie would be a very popular choice
of speaker but the response has been magnificent. She has really helped us to raise
the profile of the event and of the Katharine House”.
