# MBlox and i-pop to handle SMS donations for MTV's tsunami concert

mBlox, the mobile messaging transmission and billing specialist, is to offer an 
SMS donations service for MTV’s Asia Aid benefit event in five countries.

MBlox and i-pop’s services will enable mobile users to donate money in support 
of the tsunami relief efforts by sending a billable text message to a shortcode.
This shortcode will be promoted on TV spots and during the benefit concert.

I-pop selected mBlox to manage the operator connectivity, transmission and financial
settlement services for the MTV broadcast.

The concert takes place in Bangkok today and will air on MTV channels globally and
be rebroadcast for two weeks after the event. mBlox will provide Premium SMS (PSMS)
capabilities for five European countries.

Mark Brimblecombe, Chief Executive Officer of i-POP, said: “Premium SMS has quickly
