# New Marketing Manager at Mothers’ Union

**The Mothers’ Union (MU) has appointed Vikki White as its new Head of Marketing.**

The post has a wide remit including implementing a media relations programme to 
raise further the public awareness of the MU, its ideals and resources in support
of marriage and families, as well as generating support for the MU at grassroots
level, and establishing effective links between many MU initiatives, both in the
UK and overseas.

Before taking up her post this month, Vikki was a key member of the Education and
Marketing Team at the Christian relief and development agency, Tearfund.

“I am looking forward to washing away stereotypes about the Mothers’ Union and being
part of the restoration of the family to its rightful place in society,” she said.
