Business and financial advisers Grant Thornton have teamed up with Charities Aid
Foundation (CAF) to promote planned, tax-efficient giving to charity.
Grant Thornton,
the UK’s fifth largest accountancy firm, will encourage clients, partners and staff
of the firm to open a CAF Charity Account. They will then be able to make regular,
tax-efficient donations to their favourite charities.

As an incentive to Grant Thornton clients who give £1,000 or more into a CAF Charity
Account, CAF will done one per cent of its standard deduction back into the account.

The partnership was part of CAF’s inaugural National Giving Week last month.

Grant Thornton will not receive commissions or other financial benefits from CAF
in respect of any accounts set up with CAF.
