Canadian online casino GoldenPalace.com says that it has acquired the official match
football used in the England v Portugal quarter final and will use it to raise funds
for charity.
The casino paid ‚€28,050 for it when it was auctioned online at eBay
by the fan that managed to get it out of the football ground.

Richard Rowe, CEO of GoldenPalace.com, said: “We plan on raising a lot more money
for charity than we did paying for this ball. Expect to see The Ball traveling around
the world in an effort to raise money for charitable organisations”.

UK Fundraising will not include a clickable link to goldenpalace.com here as the
site launches far too many pop-under windows.
