# Welcome back from the Convention

Welcome back to all those that attended this year’s National Fundraisers Convention
in Birmingham. What did you learn?
The Institute of Fundraising’s National Fundraisers
Convention is one of the biggest event in the calendar for fundraisers.

Did you learn any useful tips or tricks? Are there any lessons that other fundraisers
should be aware of? Don’t forget that, despite the large number of bursaries, not
all fundraisers can attend this event.

If you’d like to share some of the tips and lessons you learned at the Convention,
do feel free to post them on the UK Fundraising Forum. If you were a speaker, you’re
welcome to share a summary of your presentation too. Or indeed, if you wish, you
can upload the presentation (as Powerpoint or Word etc) to the Forum.
