Christian Aid has promoted it online for several years using banner ads, microsites, and its volunteer support site christianaidconnect. org, but this year it is trying to expand its potential by partnering with Justgiving. This year supporters can not only put the traditional red envelopes through front doors: they can also collect money themselves online by creating a personal fundraising page at Justgiving. The emphasis is on raising funds by taking part in one of the many sponsored walks held all over the UK to mark Christian Aid Week. Alternatively supporters can set up their own event. ## Advertisement [⌊Posthub advert. You create the campaign. We'll handle the postal journey. The site already lists the most successful volunteer fundraisers, so it could prove an interesting competition. * **[Pattaya Orphanage Trust launches new Web site](https://fundraising.co.uk/2004/05/06/pattaya-orphanage-trust-launches-new-web-site/)**( 6 May 2004) * **[Face-to-face agency Push "placed in administration"](https://fundraising.co.uk/2004/05/06/facetoface-agency-push-quotplaced-administrationquot/)**( 6 May 2004) * **[Charity Consultants and Mike Whitlam Solutions for Charity in strategic alliance](https://fundraising.co.uk/2004/05/07/charity-consultants-and-mike-whitlam-solutions-charity-strategic-alliance/)**( 7 May 2004)
