**Charity Funding Promotion in association with Charity Technology Trust and Sisson
Marketing International Limited has developed eDraws, a secure online entry processing
system for charities and other Societies operating weekly lotteries.**

The system will for the first time enable charities to promote their lotteries online,
thereby generating new incremental sales. It is designed for charities already operating
a weekly draw or those planning to offer such a subscription-based draw.

Supporters to an eDraws weekly lottery choose whether they want one or two entries
per week and then complete the registration and payment. They can choose from a
quarterly direct debit or a credit/debit card payment. CTT say that “the system
produces all the emails and reports needed to meet your administration and reporting
requirements.” For example, the system generates two e-mails: one on registration
and one after their payment has been approved and set up. This two-stage process
is required under Society Lottery rules. A charity’s lottery page is updated each
week with last week’s winners plus any other information that the charity wishes
to add. The whole system runs on the online raffles system developed by CTT in 2001.

CTT will charge £450 to set up a eDraws facility which includes building the site
and its administration system, and establishing the direct debit facility. It then
charges 20% per £1 entry.

CTT say that the system can usually be built and ready for launch in eight weeks.

Three charities, including Help the Aged, are already running eDraws weekly lotteries
and CTT expects to increase this to 40 charities this year. Help the Aged has raised
£2000 already in subscriptions from its eDraws.

Charity Funding and Promotion (CFP) is a processor of charity raffles, raising over
£15 million for its charity clients in 2002.

Charity Technology Trust (CTT) is a UK registered charity which developed the UK’s
only online raffles service which has been used by over 40 charities since its launch
in 2001. Sisson Marketing International Limited (SMI) is a certified External Lottery
Manager which manages both offline and online lotteries on behalf of charities across
the UK.
