Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland has raised over £150,000 for the
Association of Children’s Hospices since July 2003.
Rotary Clubs have participated
in many fundraising events, including in the run-up to Christmas. In addition Rotarians
are giving hundreds of volunteer hours each week at local hospices.

The partnership has also raised awareness, and in Ireland, for example, a new children’s
hospice is being planned in Dublin, with Rotary support.

There are currently 26 fully operational children’s hospices in the United Kingdom,
and a 13 projects are underway to establish a children’s hospice service.
