# Air ambulance fundraiser found guilty of stealing donations

A fundraiser employed by the East Anglian Air Ambulance has been found guilty of
theft and false accounting.

Richard Green has denied taking £2,500 given to the Air Ambulance charity. Working
on a 10% commission on funds raised, Green worked for the East Anglian Air Ambulance
between January and August 2001.

A jury at Ipswich Crown Court found him guilty after hearing how three cheques had
not been entered into the charity’s accounts by Green.

Green was released on bail and will be sentenced in February 2004.
