The National Trust has used e-mail marketing to promote its annual Property Raffle.

The charity sent an HTML e-mail, working with

Charity Technology Trust and using digital messaging agency Frontwire’s e-mail marketing
tool Workspace.

The message was sent to 45,000 individuals who had agreed to receive such messages
from CTT this month.

The message involved an invitation from Rosemary Fisher, Raffle Co-ordinator at
the National Trust. Recipients were encouraged to enter to try to win the prizes
which include £10,000 in cash. 242 online donations have been secured so far according
