The Guardian has named the five charities which have won the 2002 Guardian charity
awards.

The winners, each of them with a turnover of under £1 million, received a prize
of £5,000.

The winners were Age Concern Norfolk, Bradford Nightstop, Kids’ Cookery School,
Speaking Up! and West Devon Environmental Network. Each had to demonstrate an outstanding
and innovative contribution to the community that was replicable by other organisations.
