# Samaritans announces new lead marketing agency

Agency Republic is to be the lead creative marketing agency for the Samaritans.

WCRS and Qudos were also shortlisted, whilst incumbent agency Ogilvy declined to
participate in the appointment process. Agency Republic will work with The Samaritans’
marketing team and other marketing agencies such as MindShare and TWCat to create
and deliver media neutral integrated campaigns to maximise the impact of The Samaritans’
£300,000 budget.

Over the forthcoming weeks, Agency Republic will meet with key Samaritan people 
to help develop an integrated marketing communications campaign for the winter period.
The campaign will go live in November. In addition, there will be a handover period
with Ogilvy.
