# SMS text votes work for Big Brother

Fundraising using premium-rate SMS with mobile ‘phones could work very well, if 
Channel 4’s experience with the Big Brother TV show is anything to go by.
According
to research by Baskerville’s Mobile Internet newsletter, viewers have already spent
£850,000 on text message voting in relation to the show. This accounts for nearly
30% of all votes.
