The Institute of Fundraising has announced that it is changing the content and publishing
schedule of Update, its monthly magazine.
The July issue of Update will be the
last in its present glossy format. Thereafter it will appear every other month in
a shorter format, and will feature only information relating to the Institute and
Membership housekeeping issues.

At the same time, the Institute has announced that it will have a dedicated section
within _Third Sector_ magazine. This is part of the Institute’s aims to reach audiences
beyond fundraisers. All Institute members will receive _Third Sector_ free of charge
as a membership benefit, thereby securing _Third Sector’s_ readership amongst the
3,800 members of the Institute.

Lindsay Boswell, Chief Executive of the Institute of Fundraising, did add that the
Institute aims to work “more closely with the only publication totally dedicated
to fundraising, _Professional Fundraising Magazine_.”
