Barclays has agreed a £1 million loan to Investors in Society, the community finance
fund of Charities Aid Foundation. Believed to be the largest single contribution
to date in this emerging market, this loan, offered at a preferential rate, will
provide competitive finance for charity and community enterprise projects across
the country.
