# You get what you give

Pete Mountanos, chief executive of Charitableway.com, the employee giving ASP which
is due to close later this month, pointed out that charities do actually have to
engage with a charity portal or ASP if they are to enjoy benefits. Sitting back 
is not an option. Mountanos told the Online Fundraising e-mail discussion list today:“
By the way the charities that did put more content into our data base, received 
90% more money than those that didn’t.”
