The government has taken out advertisements in today’s newspapers promoting its
UK online for business initiative. UK Fundraising visited the site at www.ukonlineforbusiness.
gov.uk/profit, wondering if there was any content for the non-profit or charity

The site does feature a range of documents covering many different industrial sectors,
such as steel, chemicals, aerospace, electronics manufacturing, bio-industry, music
and farming. But don’t expect support at this stage for the voluntary sector.

Visit UK Online to see how the government is encouraging the online development
