New research by NOP on behalf of VISA UK reports that half of the UK’s online population(
57% of women and 44% of men) said they would buy their holiday on the Web this year.
Ten per cent of men online will look to the Web first when buying a car.

Also, shoppers shop online out of hours. According to the research, 69% of women
and 61% of men shop online between 6pm and midnight. This would appear to match
Charities Aid Foundation’s findings that many donors at its donation sites give
out of office hours.
