Idealist.org, the major US non-profit information site, has introduced personalisation
facilities. As a result visitors can specify exactly what information they want,
and then receive this information automatically, by email, according to their needs,
interests and location.

Ami Dar, founder of Idealist.org, told subscribers that this was “the most important
news we’ve ever sent you.”
