World Vision has launched great-gifts.org, an online gift catalogue that encourages
supporters to buy practical gifts that make a difference. As UK Fundraising reported
in December, there are seven sections in which you can buy transport, water, hope,
farm animals, and harvest. New Media Age magazine has this week reviewed the site
and given it 70 out of 100 for content, usability, branding, and monetisation.

Vision has launched great-gifts.org, an online gift catalogue that encourages supporters
to buy practical gifts that make a difference. As UK Fundraising [reported](https://www.fundraising.co.uk/news/2000/12/index.html#gift)
in December, there are seven sections in which you can buy transport, water, hope,
farm animals, and harvest. New Media Age magazine has this week reviewed the site
and given it 70 out of 100 for content, usability, branding, and monetisation.

This direct “this is what you money will buy” approach was pioneered by Heifer Project
International, whose Most Important Gift Catalog in the World was featured by UK
Fundraising back in November 1998.
