# Usability advice on running a mailing list

Now that charities are recognising the value of direct e-mail communications, some
tips from the respected Internet usability expert Jakob Nielsen are timely. Nielsen
has focused primarily on Web usability, but his advice on running online mailing
lists is a useful summary of the key issues involved.
