# Community Channel due to launch on 1 May 2000

Interactive TV channel for the voluntary sector is due to launch in May next year.

The Community Channel, the interactive channel for the voluntary sector, is due 
for launch on 1 May 2000. It will be available on terrestrial, cable, and satellite
TV. Charities will be able to submit material and videos for presentation during
12 hours a day of broadcasting.
