Haringey council has been criticised for not giving due consideration to Age Concern
Haringey and the Haringey Consortium of Disabled People and Carers when it gave “
only 48 hours’ notice” of cuts in their grants. Although the judicial review did
found that the council had acted lawfully, the decision could help other voluntary
organisations in future.
